DearMoon Project: Yusaku Maezawa Gets Onboard of Billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX Moon Mission
We ll have been there - someone promising us the moon and the stars and didn’t keep it. The universal trend is finally set to change, with the generous Japanese millionnaire Yusaku Maezawa sending out invitations to get on board with him on a SpaceX mission to the moon.
As part of his DearMoon Project, he wants to give everyone a chance to be a part of the 8-man group travelling to the moon in 2023. Of course, billionaire Elon Musk’s genius is printed all over it!
Yusaku Maezawa and His DearMoon Project
Yusaku Maezawa is a Japanese entrepreneur who made his millions by founding his e-commerce company Zozo Inc. He also served as its CEO. When billionaire Elon Musk fleshed out his vision for space and private trips to the moon, he was one of the first to book a trip on a SpaceX rocket.
As the mind-boggling vision is one the verge of being a reality, Yusaku Maezawa wants to take 8 other people with him to accompany him on board. Initially, his DearMoon project was launched to take 8 artists, but it has expanded to include just about anyone from any background.
How Can You Win a Free Ticket to the Moon?
If you want to win a free ticket to the moon, you have to head over to the DearMoon 8 website. Once there, you have to pre-register before March 14. The applications will be evaluated starting from March 21, which would be followed by an online interview with Yusaku Maezawa and a medical exam.
There are only two conditions for the lucky SpaceX Starship free ticket holders to the moon. The first is your involvement in a field with the potential to do good for society. The second is your willingness to cooperate with the other members of the DearMoon project crew.
